2026: 01/21 Butterfly Effects: Enamels, Decals & Dimensional Slumping

Take flight in this colorful hands-on workshop! Students will create a stunning multicolored butterfly using fusible decals, UGC enamels, and Miracle Mesh slumping techniques. Each student will work with a precut glass butterfly shape, so no glass cutting is required — just bring your creativity!

You’ll learn how to apply fusible decals cleanly and securely, mix and paint with UGC enamel colors for vibrant, permanent surface design, and slump your piece over Miracle Mesh to create elegant dimension and texture. The class will also explore creative display options to help your butterfly truly shine. Whether you're new to enamels or looking to expand your kiln-forming skills, this class offers a beautiful balance of instruction, experimentation, and inspiration.
