Step into the bold world of color layering! In this class, we’ll explore how the strategic layering and intersecting of colored strips of glass can create stunning tartan-style patterns that shift, blend, and surprise. Students will learn how to cut, design, and compose their own plaid-inspired layout, then fuse and form the glass to shape.

This is a wonderful class for anyone who loves color play, discovering new palette combinations, and creating sophisticated graphic patterns in glass. The results can become beautiful plates, platters, small bowls, or even future components to incorporate into other projects!

Students are invited to choose any colors they’d like for their design — glass is sold separately, so you have complete freedom to build the palette that inspires you most.
