LEVEL 3 FREESTYLE: Kiln-formed Glass - Going Beyond 2023

PREREQUISITE: Level 2 or Instructor Approval

Building on the basic (and advanced) principles you already know about glass fusing, this program will allow you to take the following 4 classes, all while saving 50% off the cost of these individual classes!

Our Level 3 FREESTYLE program includes these 5 projects over 4 classes:

• Fused Glass Pattern Bars & Screen Melts, where you will learn two unique ways of creating very interesting glass with advanced techniques. You'll also get comfortable with new coldworking equipment that you may not have used previously.
• Creating Linework in Fused Glass, where you will learn to create projects that incorporate hand drawn linework, either as drawing, tracing, writing, or a combination of these.
• Creating with Enamels in Fused Glass, where you will learn to use both traditional glass enamel products as well as a fun line of bubbling enamel products to create a work that combines both types of enamel.
• GOING THICK with Fused Glass, where you learn to create depth and imagery in glass over multiple layers, as we create a project that is 10 layers of glass thick!

In addition, we cover a lot of questions along the way, and discuss kiln-firing schedules and kiln operation and care. All tools, kiln-firing, instruction, and expertise are provided, but glass is sold separately. Cost per project depends on your design and color choices.  

Unlike in previous years where we specified which dates you had to attend which project, when you purchase this package, you will have a FULL CALENDAR YEAR from the date you sign up to complete these 4 classes.  You can take them all right away, or spread them out over the course of a year!  Once you sign up, just contact us directly when you are ready to sign up for any or all of the 4 classes!
