LEVEL 1 FREESTYLE: Introduction to Kiln-Formed Glass 2023

This program will allow you to take the following 6 classes, all while saving over 60% off the cost of these individual classes!

Our Level 1 FREESTYLE program includes:

• Fused Glass Coasters, where you learn to cut and design with glass, and get introduced to contour kiln-firing
• Fused Glass Picture Frame, where you learn to cut and design with glass with a variety of layers, learn assembling skills for complex shape, and get introduced to full fuse kiln-firing
• Fused Glass Plate (Square or Rectangular), where you learn more about precision cutting and assembly as well as get introduced to slump firing in the kiln
• Fused Glass Circle Plate, where you learn multiple methods for successfully cut the dreaded circle shape! You'll also learn to cut rims, how to cut and assemble a circle within a circle, how to cut very small circles, all while creating a circular plate or bowl
• Fused Glass Kiln-Carving, where you learn how to press shapes and designs into glass, creating visual depth and layering with your glass creation
• Fused Glass Displacement, where you learn a really fun method of creating visual gradation of color in finished piece (a continual favorite project in this series!)

In addition, we cover a lot of the beginner questions along the way, and discuss kiln-firing schedules and kiln operation and care. All tools, kiln-firing, instruction, and expertise are provided, but glass is sold separately. Cost per project depends on your design and color choices.  

Unlike in previous years where we specified which dates you had to attend which project, when you purchase this package, you will have a FULL CALENDAR YEAR from the date you sign up to complete these 6 projects.  You can take them all right away, or spread them out over the course of a year!  Once you sign up, just contact us directly when you are ready to sign up for any or all of the 6 classes!
