11/8-9, 9am to 5pm daily. 8 student maximum.
Learn to cast hands in glass! Using alginate molds (the material dentists use to make impressions of your teeth), we will pour wax into the molds and then cast an exact replicas of your hand into glass!
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Combining her passion for knitting with her love for cast glass and sculpture, Carol Milne is the lone pioneer in the field of knitted glass: creating knitted work in glass for over a decade. Her home base is in Seattle, but she exhibits and teaches worldwide. You can find her work in museums in Germany, France, Japan and the United States. And in addition to North America she has taught in far flung places like New Zealand, Turkey and Tasmania.
