Plate\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLine by Line: Personal Expression in Glass\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIntricate Beauty: Pinpoint Precision Bowls\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLiquid Landscapes: Poured Enamels with Glass\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe’ll begin by stacking and firing layers of sheet glass into thick, colorful puddles, then breaking and firing them again to reveal completely new patterns inside. You’ll use fiber paper to kiln-carve designs into glass, explore the changing colors and reflections of iridescent glass, and then begin adding enamels to your fused glass toolbox. \u003cspan class=\"contents\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e \u003cspan class=\"contents\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs we move into enamels, you’ll learn several very different ways to use them. We’ll paint and puddle color to create intentional bubbles, draw and write on glass using brushes, calligraphy nibs, and fluid writers, build patterns from tiny repeated dots and marks, and finish by pouring enamels to create organic designs filled with movement. \u003cspan class=\"contents\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e \u003cspan class=\"contents\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e \u003cspan class=\"contents\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlong the way, you’ll learn how choices like glass thickness, layer order, enamel consistency, iridescent orientation, spacing, and heatwork can completely change the finished result. You’ll have examples and guidance to get you started, but plenty of room to choose your own colors, develop your own designs, and see where the materials take you.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBy the end of the workshop, you won’t just have seven new projects.
