7/23-24 Oh My Gourd, Becky, Look At That Bird!, with Darlene Saucedo
July 23-24, 10am-4pm daily.
In this class you will learn to mix mediums, using techniques that sculpt fiber clay over a gourd armature. We will create a playful bird that is sure to make you smile. Sitting or standing? You decide!
Learn to work with fiber clay using a gourd as your armature, then create a sculpture over the gourd! You'll also learn to dry-finish pieces to make them look like metal bronzes or patinas. At the end of this two day class you will take home a completed sculpture!
This class is for everyone. No need to have sculpted before, or worked with clay to create a whimsical bird! Beginners welcome!
